Which Black Ops 2 Zombies Map Is the Best
Sup guys, this is Human...
We're back with another list of maps to be reviewed, and we're already halfway there through all zombies maps!
Town
Probably the best map to be released at launch for BO2 zombies, most of the community was playing Town. A decent selection of perks, the two box locations also work as camping spots, good selection of weapons, and you can PaP right away! My biggest complaint is the lava, and the design of the map being more camper friendly, as well as being a very unattractive map to look at.
Map Rating: 7.3/10
Bus Depot
This map, though not being as fun as town, is way more challenging and styled like Nacht Der Untoten. Once again, lava, poor map design, and the unattractiveness ruin the experience.
Map Rating: 7.1/10
Farm
Now this is the worst map out of the three. There is a barn, a truck in the middle that you have to maneuver around, a house with a balcony that zombies jump on so it can't even be a camping spot, and a lot of lava. Unlike Town, there are NO camping spots, and the training spots are utter dog (you know what). There is less lava than Town or even Bus Depot, but somehow, it's even worse in Farm.
Map Rating: 5.2/10
TranZit
Oh my god, why did we continue with the Ultimis universe after moon, the Earth is destroyed, but no, Zielinski had to continue and make what many consider, the worst map of all time. To give props, they did try, but the result was so bad. Jet Gun? It's literally a Paralyzer that cant do what a Paralyzer does and breaks. Pack a Punch is more tedious than Zetsubou no Shima, denizens are more annoying than George Romero, and how does the Avogadro even make sense in the storyline, he just appears in TranZit and that's it. There's so many more complaints that I don't have any more space to fit in.
Map Rating: 3.7/10
Nuketown
I believe Nuketown was a bonus map for the game if you preordered the game, and if you did, props to you, because you didn't feel the full effects of TranZit because you more than likely, were playing this map religiously. You have a Top 5 Assault Rifle in zombies, only appearing in this map, and you actually needed skill to reach Round 25 in this map. But overall, really tight spots and only 1 real camping spot in this map.
Map Rating: 7.7/10
Die Rise
As much as people say TranZit was bad, and Nixaru saying this map is underrated, holy f***, I hate this map. You have to applaud them for their introduction of verticality into zombies, but other than that, everything else was bad. The weapon locker might be one of the most overpowered things to ever be introduced in zombies. Imagine just storing your Apothican Servant in a locker and extracting 15,000 Points? That would ruin a map, and it ruined this map. The elevators suck if you're PaPing and it leaves your floor, eating your gun and 5,000 points. Jumping Jacks suck, but they give you a perk. Weapon selection is good and has the best AR of all time, the AN-94.
Map Rating: 3.2/10
Mob of the Dead
Recently started being considered as the best map of all time, MOTD has the best crew that's not the main crews. Brutus is who I consider to be the best boss of all time. The map is creepy but fun to play. The Blundergat is also a weapon I love, you can PaP it, add acid and a monkey to it, or do both! Also has the best route to PaP, where you crash a plane to get to the Golden Gate Bridge and to go back to the map, you have to kill yourself with an electric chair.
Map Rating: 9.5/10
Buried
Now this is a map that is split but people still admit is a good map. There's absolutely no training spots in this map, but the camping spots are some of this gamemode's greatest. By far the most overpowered camping strat, is by Jug, you can put your Thundergun machine and wind turbine and get to round million. Too easy and if you played before, even easier. The Easter Egg is also imo, really weak, take two sides but both have the same result and the earth is doomed. But still a solid map.
Map Rating: 8.6/10
Origins
To end off the maps for this blog, we have Origins, by far, the biggest map in all of Black Ops 2 zombies. 4 staffs, each of them even after being attained, still needed to be upgraded to even be useful in the higher rounds. Introduction of the Panzer, the most iconic boss in all of zombies, as well as mud and the boomhilda. This map is not a map that is like Shadows of Evil, where it's bright and vibrant, but it's big, and in this version, considered fun by most of the community. The power system in this map is the worst in the series in my opinion, but I like how it's a free Max Ammo every 5 Rounds. The robots suck. The Scar-H is awesome. And the first introduction to challenges really spiced up the map with new things like elemental fists and the crazy place. Lastly, the Easter Egg is Top 2-3 out of all Easter Eggs in zombies.
Map Rating: 9.3/10
Average Map Rating:
6.8/10 (with Green Run)
7.0/10 (without Green Run)
This game had a collection of some of the best maps of all time, and some of the worst maps of all time. There was TranZit and Die Rise, which are two of the three worst maps of all time, but there's also Origins and Mob of the Dead, which are two of the three best maps of all time, and Nuketown and Buried are in the middle.
Thanks for the read. Human out...
